In preparation for the 2024 European elections, WWF European Policy Office, Transport & Environment, Climate Action Network Europe, BirdLife Europe, and the European Environmental Bureau, are teaming up to put nature and climate policies at the heart of the EU’s agenda.
Due to Covid-19, BOZAR was unable to hold its annual May Days debates in 2020. Instead, they joined forces with us, creative storytelling studio Awe studio. Together we went in search of stories, photos, and illustrations to help us look at the lessons of the past, understand the intense reality of today, and envisage the future.
What part does Europe play in our daily life? With a truly multi-disciplinary team, we explored the stories in Heer, a typical neighborhood in the border region nearby Maastricht. Through storytelling we showed the impact of European policy on a small community, and vice-versa.
In this project we worked with the Bertelsmann Foundation to produce Transatlantic Tales — a series of animation videos exploring how Europe and America became best friends.
Fotomuseum Antwerp (FOMU) asked us to create an immersive digital experience for Georges Senga’s photography exhibition, “Rebel Lives: Photographs from inside the Lord’s Resistance Army.”
